Improv Modern Quilting Workshop with Diane & Jill 24/6/19

Today two of our members, Diane and Jill, began their series of improv modern quilting workshops using the Helen Howes sampler quilt pattern. 

In this week's workshop we were shown how to make the Tiger Tiger block,

 and the Ecccentric/Modern Crosses block.

The hall was buzzing with activity as members made their own blocks, with Diane and Jill on hand to offer advice and help. 

Everyone enjoyed the workshop and as you can see the blocks vary greatly depending on the fabrics that have been used. 

Our next Improv Quilting workshop is on 22nd July.
