What A Lot of Quilts with Helen Howes 25/3/19
Our speaker on the 25th March was Helen Howes, who proved to be very popular as we had 16 visitors at this meeting.
Helen's background is in kite making but she left that all behind and now spends her time creating beautiful modern quilts and artwork, teaching workshops and giving talks.
Trees feature a lot in Helen's work
Never confined to squares and straight lines and always up for a challenge, Helen's work is an inspiration to think outside the box.
There was time, after Helen had finished talking, to chat and take a closer look at the many quilts that Helen seems to make at a great velocity.
