Fabric requirements for the 3 samples we will be making.
Fabric of about 18 to 20 inches wide should be enough.
Sample l
1 strip 1 l/2" wide in light
1 strip 1 l/4" wide in medium
1 strip 1 l/2" wide in dark
Sample 2
1 strip 1 l/2" wide light
1 strip 1 l/4" wide medium
1 strip 1 l/2" wide dark
Sample 3
a - 2 strips 1" wide light
2 strips 1" wide medium
1 strip 1" wide dark
b - 1 strip 1" wide light
1 strip 1" wide medium
1 strip 2" wide medium
You will also need a sewing machine, thread and cutting equipment. A little iron, if you have one, could be useful.
